Emotional literacy matters. Children will succeed in relationships and tasks when they can understand and respond intelligently to their emotions and the emotions of others.
Judaism should be taught hands on. When children can engage concrete materials, and are taught real ideas by warm teachers they are affected for their entire lives.
Developing executive functioning is critical. The ability to plan and execute tasks is the skillset most correlated with leading a successful life.
Interest based learning is more effective. When children learn as an extension of their natural desire to explore we are preserving a love of learning for a lifetime.
